There is one allotment site run by the Parish Council, holding 49 plots on Wells Road, Wookey Hole.
From March 2021, Allotment Plots are allocated to residents within the parish only. A waiting list is maintained.
There is a tenants' representative - Sarah Chambers - who can be contacted on 01749 674078. Hints, tips, offers and publications on allotment gardening can be found at the National Allotment Society

Residents within the City of Wells are eligible to apply to the City Council for allotments on their 2 sites.

Allotment Surveys
Allotment plots are inspected regularly.
There are quarterly inspections where plots are categorised, photographed and tenants informed. Where relevant, actions are requested within a timeframe. The categories are outlined in the document below.
Tenants are encouraged to get in touch if there is anything they are uncertain of when they receive their updates.
Informal inspections take place throughout the year.
