Records Office

The main Records Office is the responsibility of Somerset County Council - visit their website, run by South West Heritage Trust.

Mendip District Council is the repository for all Planning Applications

Parish Records may be found at Somerset County Council although the local churches do keep some of the more recent ones.

Wells Town Hall holds details of planning application within the town since 1976 and is also the depository for more recent archives of St Cuthbert (Out) Parish Council.
